My most popular option, this design package includes an original brand-spankin' new design of six pages (usually: home, news, resume, pictures, media, contact). You'll start by fillling out a basic questionaire, and I'll start by sketching out a sample, then creating a graphic rendering, and finally coding the design. You'll get a nifty logo, links to your social media sites, convert your resume for download in .pdf format, let people see what's going on with you, and show them how to get in touch.
Keep it simple, stupid. If you just need a storefront, then this single-page site is for you. It's like a digital business card or resume and is designed with all the same skill and creative (ahem) genius behind the other packages.
Easy to use, just like that new techno-gaget you got for your birthday, the PLUG-N-PLAY TEMPLATE option will get you online and keep your costs down. I've created a few templates (mostly options for designs that other people didn't like -- remember, one person's trash is another's treasure!) that are perfectly adaptable for you. I'll just plug your information in to the template and publish it online. The details of each template are unique, so take a look at the samples below. Keep in mind, however, that these designs will remain available for other people to purchase and use as well.
If you are a small business or someone looking for a more expansive web presence, we can discuss the endless possibilities! Maybe you have many products to showcase and are interested in online sales ... or maybe you have another idea. Let me hear it! I'll work with you and see how we can create exactly what you're looking for.
Contact me with a brief description of what you have in mind. Be sure to include a list of pages you'll need (home, about, products, contact) as well as any extra features or services you'd like (blog, message board, mailing list, video player, shopping cart, copywriting, etc). Your timeframe and budget requirements wil also help in providing you a better estimate.
You are welcome to take care of this on your own, using any service you choose. If you'd like me to handle it using my third-party service, the cost will be $75/year. This money is due at the time of the deposit.
Once your site is live, you're going to have news to share, photos to display, a hot new single to release ... or whatever. That's maintenance.
Updates are billed at the hourly rate of $25, rounded to the quarter hour. Additional pages can be added as well -- that cost will vary based on the specifics of the page. Of course, you are always welcome to update the site yourself if you know HTML/PHP/CSS/etc. You will always have full access to your site at any time.
If you choose to update yourself or have someone else update the site for you, and something goes wrong, or changes to the code are made, any resulting maintenance by Out of Work Designs will be at $35.
Add some of these to your site for an additional charge:
Scanned Images? Non-Digital Media?
It usually takes 3-5 weeks for a website to be completed from start to finish. But, if you need your site faster, let me know and it's possible that I may be able to rearrange my life and get your site completed faster. Depending on site specifics, rush service adds an additional 30-50% to the total cost.
A deposit of 50% of the estimated design cost is due bfore any work can begin. Any domain/hosting fees are due in full at the time of the deposit.
Final payment is due 14 days after site launch unless prior arrangements are made.
Maintenance costs are invoiced at the end of each month and are due within 14 days of the invoice date.
All payment is to be made by cash or personal check. If you would prefer to pay by credit card (via PayPal), arrangements can be made, however all fees will be payable by you!
