PHILOSOPHICAL MUMBO JUMBO
CLEAN AND SIMPLE
You have something people want, and you’re selling it on your website. That’s it. So, we keep it nice and clean, easy to navigate, easy to understand… it’s all about simplicity. Even if you have 30,000 products to sell, there’s still a way to keep it easy and understandable so people aren’t scratching their heads, wondering which button to click on to find the widgets and wickets they came to buy. Take a look at my designs — that’s what you’ll find in common among them: clean, simple, beautiful designs and displays of content. Let’s make your website do that too!
WIX/SQUARESPACE CUSTOM INTERIORS
While I don’t customize cars and motorcycles, I can design a custom template on Wix or Squarespace if that’s what you’re looking for. They make it easy for you to then update and handle yourself with a basic drag-and-drop situation.
It still stands for Keep it simple, stupid. If you just need a storefront, then this single-page site is for you. It’s like a digital business card or resume and is designed with all the same skill and creative (ahem) genius behind the other packages.
My most popular option, this design package includes an original brand-spankin’ new design of six pages (usually: home, news, resume, pictures, media, contact). You’ll start by fillling out a basic questionaire, and I’ll start by sketching out a sample, then creating a graphic rendering, and finally coding the design. You’ll get a nifty logo, links to your social media sites, convert your resume for download in .pdf format, let people see what’s going on with you, and show them how to get in touch.
If you are a small business or someone looking for a more expansive web presence, we can discuss the endless possibilities! Maybe you have many products to showcase and are interested in online sales … or maybe you have another idea. Let me hear it! I’ll work with you and see how we can create exactly what you’re looking for.
Contact me with a brief description of what you have in mind. Be sure to include a list of pages you’ll need (home, about, products, contact) as well as any extra features or services you’d like (blog, message board, mailing list, video player, shopping cart, copywriting, etc). Your timeframe and budget requirements wil also help in providing you a better estimate.
Domain, Hosting, Maintenance
Domain Name and Hosting Options
You are welcome to take care of this on your own, using any service you choose. Or, I can take care of it for you, leaving you worry-free. This money is not included in the price of the design, and is due at the time of the deposit.
Once your site is live, you’re going to have news to share, photos to display, a hot new single to release … or whatever. That’s maintenance.
Updates are billed hourly. Additional pages can be added as well — that cost will vary based on the specifics of the page. Of course, you are always welcome to update the site yourself if you know HTML/PHP/CSS/etc. You will always have full access to your site at any time.
If you choose to update yourself or have someone else update the site for you, and something goes wrong, or changes to the code are made, any resulting maintenance by Out of Work Designs will be at an increased rate.
Add some of these to your site for an additional charge:
- Mailing List (powered by MailChimp)
- Fancier Image or Media Galleries
- Blog (powered by WordPress)
- E-Commerce Shopping Cart (powered by WordPress and PayPal)
Scanned Images? Non-Digital Media?
- You can send your photos to be scanned or your media (the DVD of your latest indie feature) to be converted and edited.

It usually takes 3-5 weeks for a website to be completed from start to finish. But, if you need your site faster, let me know and it’s possible that I may be able to rearrange my life and get your site completed faster. Depending on site specifics, rush service adds an additional 30-50% to the total cost.
